Woodland Walks and Events in May on the GM Ringway

Hello, and welcome to spring, with the April showers breaking up the long days.

With the days staying lighter later, I am sure we are excited to pull on our shoes or boots to get out for more walks. And what a great time to get out too. The snowdrops, bluebells and then wild garlic will be getting ready for a big show in the woodlands on the GM Ringway. There is no better time to plan your weekend walks.

In other news, we have been working towards getting some guided walks ready for National Walking Month and the GM Walking Festival in May so you can try out some of the routes and activities and meet some of the fantastic organisations and groups we are lucky to be working with. We will share the whole line-up when it is fully confirmed, so keep your eyes on your inbox in the coming weeks.

In this month’s newsletter, discover some woodland walks on the GM Ringway, learn about upcoming festival walks, and find some spring flowers to spot on your adventures.

So sit back and enjoy reading as you plan your next walk or wheel.

PS: If you’re heading out to do some spring hunting along the GM Ringway, please do share your pictures on our social media or send them to Sarah by email. I’d love to include them in our posts and newsletters, along with your tips of the best places to spot the new season coming into bud!

Survey Prize Draw Winner
I was hoping to be able to announce the winner of the Survey Prize Draw that I shared last month. Unfortunately, I am still awaiting return contact from the lucky person. If they don’t get back to me within 14 days (as per the terms and conditions) I will redraw and announce the winner in next month’s newsletter.
