Redisher Wood

Redisher Wood is a wooded valley at the base of Holcombe Hill and a local nature reserve. It is one of the best ancient woodland sites in the borough. In late Spring, the steep valley sides are carpeted with bluebells, and in Autumn, the trees are full of all the vibrant Autumnal colours. The woods are also home to a number of important woodland birds.
