Hollingworth Lake

Hollingworth Lake is a man-made reservoir originally constructed in the early 19th century to supply water for the Rochdale Canal but it’s now evolved into a popular recreational area. It’s a perfect spot for water sports, walking and cycling, fishing and picnicking and bird watching.
